My name is Dr. Richard (Rich) Joy, B.Sc., Ph.D.

 

I have been in the malting, brewing, distilling and food processing industries for over 25 years, covering areas in the laboratory, testing, malting, production, operations, market identification, CRM, research, technology development and sustainability. During this time I have developed a keen insight into what customers want and how to get it to them.

 

​​ I have developed a website in which I will be able to share this expertise for those in need or just wish to increase their knowledge in an area that they are not fully familiar with. I look forward to discussing the many things that you are interested in and specifically those that you are not sure of.

 

My approach is not only from leveraging our basic knowledge in these areas but also from practical experience through decades of work and experiences on all that can go right and wrong.I believe that we can all improve our craft through education, knowledge and sharing of expertise. Hence, I have started with the development of multiple categories that contain dozens of topics to whet your appetite.
